Missoula’s original microbrewery since 1987.  Bayern brews incredible German lagers. Brewmaster Juergen Knoeller produces three styles year round; seven seasonals, including gold medal Doppelbock , elegant Pilsner, and the ever-popular Oktoberfest. Be sure to visit the Edelweiss Bistro located inside Montana’s original craft brewery, the Edelweiss Bistro was founded as a means to complement Bayern Brewing’s award winning German biers and to bring great tasting German food back to Missoula.

Bayern is proud to be able to reuse glass bottles, and is the only bottle washing/reusing facility in the state.
