Membership Luncheon

Held at a different member business the third Tuesday of every other month from 12 to 1 pm. Luncheons provide networking and promotional opportunities and feature informative speakers on topics affecting Downtown businesses and the community. Luncheons in 2023 are in March-May-September-November.

Downtown On Tap

Held at a different member business on the last Tuesday of every month from 5-7pm. This is a great opportunity to socialize, network, enjoy drinks and appetizers, and showcase your business.

Member Education & Empowerment Series

The Education & Empowerment Series was created with YOU in mind. We will co-host trainings with other prominent Missoula businesses to address the needs of small businesses and provide valuable professional development to members. Held at First Interstate Bank Training Room on 101 E. Front Street, on the Third Tuesday every other month from 8:30-9:30 am. The series in 2023 are in February-April-June-August-October.

Large Social Events

The MDA offers three large events a year exclusively for members, a BBQ, Holiday Party and Annual Awards Banquet.

BBQ

In July, we typically throw a huge BBQ in Caras Park to celebrate the summer in Downtown. Members are encouraged to bring the entire family for socializing and down-home cooking by our members. RSVP for 2023 here: Membership BBQ

Holiday Party

Our Christmas Party has been a can’t-miss event for many years. It is our holiday social event where hundreds of members come together to mingle and partake in the holiday spirits.

Annual Awards

Our Annual Awards Banquet, held in January, recognizes Downtown Champions from the previous year. Nominate your favorite MDA business, employee, volunteer, etc. here: Annual Downtown Awards
